God loves you and has a wonderful plan for each one of you. Within this divine plan, He has a purpose for you to receive His love, so that you can come to know what true love is, and to further share His love with others.
Every person who becomes a Christian inherits a multitude of blessings including God’s promise of rest, peace, comfort, spiritual strength, security, eternal life(immortality), and fullness of joy.
A Christian person is a person who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and desires to learn and grow in God’s love and goodness. They purpose to love God with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love others as Jesus Christ loves them.
God desires to exceedingly bless us and give us a complete new and better life, enriched with His goodness beyond comprehension. Any person who believes and follows Jesus Christ can be a Christian and receive the spiritual benefits and eternal rewards, regardless of their past.
Yet, many people might be somewhat satisfied with their present lifestyle, success or other religious beliefs other than Christianity and see no reason to become a Christian. There are several vital life relating reasons why everyone should wisely choose to become a Christian.
Everyone has an imperfect spiritual nature and exhibits actions of anger, hatred, selfishness, arrogance, greed, lies, stealing, profanity, envy, covetousness, immorality, violence, etc. This is our sinful nature and what separates us from a relationship with God. Many times, because of personal pride and arrogance, we are not willing to admit our wrongful behavior or to admit that we need to correct our sinful actions or see any valid reason to change. Satan and his demons try to deceive us into making and worshipping images and idols, that have no life or Godly power. These earthly and physical distractions keep us preoccupied and confused so that we settle for them instead of true heavenly treasures.  Are we not just deceiving ourselves when we assume our lives are fine the way they are? Do we not realize how hurtful our present lifestyle may be to ourselves and others?  What are the Gods in your life? A new car, a nice house, a successful career? Who do you dress for, who do you spend your money on, who are you trying to impress, what is the most important thing in life to you?  Can you think of anything in your life that you are constantly striving to do or to attain? Will these truly bring you joy and peace when you attain them? These are the images and idols made of wood or stone Satan wants us to worship.
The sins that we do work contrary to God’s plan that He has for us. Every evil way and action is detrimental to our spiritual welfare. This sin in our lives eventually brings spiritual death and separation from God. God desires that everyone of us be saved from our own self-destruction.
Therefore, God sent Jesus Christ, His Son, into the world to set us free from evil and sin in our lives when we choose to believe in HIM(Jesus Christ). Any person who believes and calls on the name of Jesus will be saved, and when they confess their sins to God in prayer, they will be completely forgiven from every sin through the Grace of Jesus. Salvation is a free gift from God, you can do nothing to earn it.
It is essential that every person come to the saving knowledge of who Jesus Christ is and what He has done for us. This can only be accomplished by asking God’s Holy Spirit to come into our life. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s Word(Bible) we can understand and grow in His love.
One thing we know for sure is that every person born into this world will certainly die one day. If there is even one chance that you can find a way to live forever, wouldn’t it be foolish not to accept it? How about your family? Do you love and care for them enough to give them the Gift of eternal life? This free gift is available to you right now. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, and He will never ever leave you nor forsake you. He will spiritually walk with you all the days of your life, to strengthen you, protect you, comfort you and direct you. Won’t you ask Him into your life and heart today? Right now?
