I AM READY


If the trumpet were to sound for you
To come again, Lord, I am ready.

If you want to take me now, and you
Called my name today, Lord, I am ready.

But there are so many that don’t know you, Lord.
Family, friends and neighbors that are not ready.

If you would but tarry for a while and
Allow the time that they may be told about you,

Then upon your return, everyone can say to you,
I AM READY.
