THE MISSING PIECE

There was an emptiness within
That I had hidden for many years.
A deep, dark hole in my soul
That only produced pain and tears.

I searched the world over
Seeking success and achievement;
Trying to discover
A life full of contentment.

And then one day
I found that missing piece.
JESUS CHRIST: the one and only way
To fulfillment and lasting peace.

I was looking for love
In all the wrong places.
True love only comes from heaven above,
To fill all these empty spaces.
